Everyone has their own reason for moving.
For some, it's about getting stronger. For others, it's a way to slow down, spend time with the people they love, or find something that feels entirely their own.
At WISKII, we believe activewear should move with you through every part of your day. From the studio to the golf course and everywhere in between, our pieces are designed to bring together performance, comfort, and effortless style.
For our WISKII Club Week interview, we caught up with passionate golfer Mandie Ruminski to talk about the moment she fell in love with golf, the practice routines that help her find her rhythm, and the lessons the game has taught her beyond the course.
Her story is a reminder that confidence is built over time. Sometimes, it comes from a memorable moment. Sometimes, it comes from showing up, practicing with purpose, and trusting yourself a little more each time.
Finding Her Way Into Golf
Q: What was the exact moment you fell in love with golf?
A: I got my first hole-in-one, and I was with my entire family. It was just a really good memory, and ever since then, I've been hooked.
Some moments stay with you.
For Mandie, her first hole-in-one was more than a great shot. It was a memory shared with her entire family, and the kind of moment that made her want to keep coming back to the course.
Sometimes, falling in love with a sport starts with one unforgettable day. From there, it becomes about the memories you continue to make and the reasons you keep showing up.
The Secret to Finding an Effortless Tempo
Q: What's your secret to finding that effortless tempo?
A: My secret for my tempo is purposeful practice. I have a practice routine, a pre-shot routine. All of that confidence comes into play when I'm on the tee box.
An effortless tempo does not happen by accident.
Behind every confident swing is preparation, repetition, and a routine that helps you stay present. Having a practice routine and a pre-shot routine creates something familiar to return to, especially when the pressure is on.
You don't need to have everything figured out from the beginning. Progress often comes from practicing the basics, building consistency, and giving yourself time to find your own rhythm.
Golf Style That Goes Beyond the Course
Q: How do you style your golf pieces so that they transition perfectly from the fairway to the rest of your day?
A: When I play, I love to wear golf clothes, but I also love to have outfits that I can wear anywhere, even not on the course. Just taking off my hat and taking off my glove, and I'm good to go wherever.
The best golf pieces are the ones that move naturally with you, both on and off the course.
A polished golf outfit should feel comfortable during your round and still look effortless when the day continues. Whether you're heading to lunch, meeting friends, or running errands after your game, versatile pieces make the transition simple.
At WISKII, we believe what you wear should support the way you move without getting in the way. From a morning on the course to everything that comes after, feeling comfortable and confident is always a good place to start.

The Life Lesson Golf Has Taught Her
Q: Golf is such a mental game - what is the best piece of advice it's given you about navigating life off the course?
A: The main thing golf has taught me about life is to not react. You don't want to react to anything too quickly. Everything can always turn around, and how you handle things is gonna affect the outcome.
Golf is a game of focus, patience, and perspective.
A difficult shot does not define the entire round. In the same way, one challenging moment does not define an entire day. Learning to pause, stay calm, and choose how you respond can change the outcome.
What happens next is not always within our control. But how we handle the moment is. Sometimes, giving yourself a little more time and space is all it takes to see things differently.
A Little Reminder From WISKII Club Week
We all have our own way of finding confidence.
It might be through golf, a favorite workout, purposeful practice, or simply making time for something that helps us feel more like ourselves.
What matters is finding something that keeps you curious, helps you stay present, and reminds you what you're capable of.
And if there's something you've been wanting to try, maybe this is your sign to give it a go. You don't need to have everything figured out. You just need to start somewhere.
Here's to finding your rhythm, trusting the process, and moving through life in your own way.
Dare to dream. Move with WISKII.
